BMW R 80 ST/GS Paris Dakar

Description

August 1984 BMW R80 ST. Quite a rare bike as only made for a short period, basically a more road biased version of the GS. This particular bike has been off the road for man year as the heads were taken off in 2003 for an unleaded conversion and it stayed like that till last year when we re assembled it. The heads have been stripped and fitted with unleaded valves and guides as well as being ported and gas flowed at the same time. New tyres, tubes, wheel bearings, brake pads,brake shoes, braided brake hose,and full service carried out.
The bodywork has been painted in Paris Dakar colours br Dream Machine Race paints. New Tomeselli chrome Gs handle bars and mirrors fitted. Brand new single seat and rack (standard twin seat included)
Bike looks and rides great.
The bike has had an mot but will be able to be registered as historic in August.
